Arbitrum Announces Largest Development Grant to Lotte Group

Arbitrum (ARB) is partnering with Lotte Group. Arbitrum has announced that it will provide the largest development grant ever to Lotte Group.

On the 7th, CoinDesk, a media outlet specializing in virtual assets (cryptocurrency), reported that Offchain Labs, the developer of Arbitrum, announced at CES2025 that it would support the largest developer grant ever to South Korea's major corporation, Lotte Group.

The specific amount of the grant has not been disclosed. It is expected that the grant will be provided in the form of Arbitrum tokens.

Meanwhile, the Lotte Group business that Arbitrum is focusing on is Lotte's metaverse game platform, Caliverse. Caliverse is a platform that integrates various technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and virtual assets. Especially, once the integration with Arbitrum is complete, Web3 users within Caliverse will be able to make service payments with virtual assets.
