Ripple CEO Meets with Trump..."Strong Start in 2025"

Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, posted a photo on X on the 8th with Donald Trump, the U.S. President-elect.

Garlinghouse stated, "Had a wonderful dinner with Trump last night," and expressed, "A strong start to 2025." Stuart Alderoty, CLO of Ripple, also attended the meeting.

Garlinghouse has recently expressed optimism about Trump's pro-crypto stance. On the 6th, Garlinghouse mentioned on X, "As 2025 begins, the so-called 'Trump effect' has materialized into a bull market," adding, "Especially for Ripple, the situation is more optimistic given that its U.S. operations have been virtually blocked for years due to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) led by Gary Gensler."

Ripple is increasing its hiring in the U.S. following Trump's election. Currently, 75% of the positions being hired are concentrated in the U.S., contrasting with the past four years when hiring was mainly overseas. Additionally, the number of new contracts Ripple signed in the U.S. within six weeks after last year's presidential election surpassed the record of the previous six months.
