Line Next announced on the 4th that its Line Messenger-based Mini Dapp platform, launched globally last month, surpassed 10 million cumulative registered users and 1.5 million new wallets within just 10 days of its release.
The main countries of use are Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan. The leading Mini Dapp recorded over 700,000 active users and sales exceeding 700 million KRW.
This Mini Dapp is based on the Kaia ecosystem, allowing users to utilize Dapps within Line Messenger without installing separate apps.
Additionally, Line Next plans to add a Dapp portal to the home tab of Line Messenger. Users will be able to receive rewards from Dapps and trade various virtual assets and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) through the integrated wallet. Furthermore, a web version of the Dapp portal will be launched, allowing the use of Dapps without Line Messenger.
Kim Woo-seok, CSO of Line Next, stated, "Line Messenger-based Mini Dapps are rapidly spreading among Asian users," and added, "We aim to create a leading Web3 ecosystem in Asia that grows explosively with Dapps based on real demand from a large user base."
