According to Decrypt, a media outlet specializing in virtual assets (cryptocurrency), the U.S. Senate Banking Committee has once again canceled the vote on the re-nomination of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Commissioner Caroline Crenshaw, which was scheduled to take place on the 18th (local time).

The media reported, "Caroline Crenshaw needed to obtain approval from the Senate Banking Committee within this year's congressional session for her re-nomination," adding, "The 2024 congressional schedule ends on December 18, local time."
