New York Stock Exchange Closes Lower... Nasdaq Down 3.62%

The three major indices of the United States stock market closed lower. The Nasdaq Composite Index recorded a 3.62% drop from the previous day, closing at 19,380.87 points.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2.61% to 42,314.27 points, and the S&P 500 Index ended the day down 3.01% at 5,868.40 points.
