U.S. SEC Commissioner "Reconsideration of Adding Staking Feature to Ethereum Spot ETF"

Hester Peirce, a commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), stated that the addition of a staking feature to the Ethereum (ETH) spot ETF, which is currently missing, could be reconsidered.

On the 20th (local time), Commissioner Peirce mentioned in an interview with CoinAge, "If a new SEC chairman comes in and commissioners who are friendly to virtual assets (cryptocurrencies) join in large numbers, things could proceed more smoothly," she said.

She added, "If Paul Atkins, the nominee for SEC chairman, takes office, the work on virtual assets will be prioritized," and "although many things will happen, it seems progress can be made."
