Elon Musk: "It would be more surprising if the Biden Administration doesn't pardon SBF early"

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, predicted that the Biden Administration is likely to pardon Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the founder of the bankrupt FTX exchange, early.

On the 23rd, CEO Musk responded to an X (formerly Twitter) user's comment, "Guess who President Biden might pardon early. (Sam Bankman-Fried) is the second-largest donor to the Democratic Party," by saying, "I would be surprised if this doesn't actually happen."

SBF was indicted in December 2022 on charges of embezzling billions of dollars in customer funds to pay off Alameda Research's debts and purchase luxury real estate in the Bahamas. SBF was sentenced to 25 years in prison in March and is currently serving his sentence.
