Tether CEO "USDT Growth Contributes to Strengthening the Status of the US Dollar"

Paolo Ardoino, the CEO of Tether, the issuer of the world's largest stablecoin USDT, stated on the 7th (local time) via his X (formerly Twitter) that "the growth of USDT helps the US economy and can strengthen the status of the US dollar by purchasing hundreds of billions of dollars in US Treasury bonds."

He continued, "USDT supports 400 million users in emerging markets to access the global financial system," adding, "However, billions of people are still marginalized without even basic financial services."

Furthermore, he emphasized, "There are good people who are too poor to attract the attention of banks," and "We will continue to support them while helping the development of the US economy."
