There are claims that quantum computers are still far from reaching a level where they pose a direct threat to Bitcoin (BTC).

On the 9th, Paolo Ardoino, the CEO of Tether, stated on X (formerly Twitter) that "Quantum computers still have a long way to go before they reach a level where they can practically threaten Bitcoin's encryption."
