Upbit Begins Recruitment for Youth Digital Asset Education 'UP Class'

Dunamu, the operator of Upbit, announced on the 4th that it has started recruiting for the youth digital asset education program 'UP Class'. Applications for participation can be submitted through the official UP Class website, and any young adult in their 20s or 30s is eligible to join.

UP Class is a Dunamu project designed to help participants understand digital assets. It was first introduced to those over 50 in the first half of this year, with approximately 1,200 applicants.

This year, Upbit is expanding its educational target from seniors to young adults, running UP Class for those in their 20s and 30s in the second half of the year. This UP Class will begin on September 9 at the 'Upbit D Conference 2025' in Seoul, then tour five universities nationwide—KAIST, POSTECH, Kangwon National University, Pukyong National University, and Chosun University—before concluding at the SJ Kunsthalle in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. All participation is free of charge.

In particular, this curriculum has been structured to reflect the characteristics and needs of the younger generation. The program expands beyond conventional topics like crime prevention and senior asset management to include advanced technology and knowledge trends in blockchain and AI.

Speakers include Dr. Jang Dong-seon and CEO Goran. Dr. Jang will present on 'The Future of Blockchain and AI that Youth Should See,' exploring the new changes and innovations potentially brought about by blockchain and AI. CEO Goran will lead a session titled 'The Past and Present of Digital Assets through Bitcoin,' reviewing the history of digital assets and discussing their meaning and value.
