XRPL Korea announced on the 23rd that its Asia's largest XRP (XRP) web3 conference, 'XRP Seoul 2025', held on the 21st, concluded successfully.
The event was hosted by XRPL Korea and sponsored by Ripple and Doppler Finance.
Speakers included Markus Infanger, Senior Vice President of RippleX; Christina Chan, Senior Director at Ripple; and Takuya Sugiyama, Vice President of SBI Ripple Asia. Also present were Kelvin Koh, co-founder of Spartan Group; Nihal Monder, partner at Pantera Capital; and Steve Kim, Binance APAC Director.
In his keynote, Senior Vice President Infanger said, "Digital Asset Treasury (DAT), real-world asset tokenization (RWA), and stablecoins (virtual assets whose value is linked to fiat currencies) will be key drivers of the web3 industry and the XRP ecosystem going forward." Senior Director Chan emphasized, "We will establish an APAC hub to actively support fintech innovation in Korea."
In the following panel discussion, cases linking stablecoins and traditional finance were addressed. The session included representatives from domestic financial institutions and large corporations, who discussed practical issues such as the regulatory environment, institutional arrangements, and consumer protection in depth. In addition, around 10 projects on site, including Kirin Wallet, Decent, Natures Miracle Holdings, Excella, Stronghold, Imua, Squid, Surtic, and TRN Labs, operated experiential programs to engage with participants.
An XRPL Korea representative said, "Speaker presentations, panel discussions, and various experiential programs received strong responses from participants," and added, "We hope this event served as a forum for concrete discussions on blockchain intersecting with traditional finance and the real economy and addressed industry issues."
