IoTeX launches 'Real-World AI Foundry' with global partners

IoTeX (IOTX) has teamed up with global companies and institutions to build an artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem based on the real world.

On the 30th (local time), IoTeX officially announced the launch of the 'Real-World AI Foundry' with a global partner alliance at the 'Real-World AI Summit' held during the Token2049 event in Singapore. The initiative aims to build a 'real-world model' ecosystem based on real-time data and open standards, and to establish global-level responsible AI principles.

Unlike existing models that rely on static historical data, the Real-World AI Foundry aims to develop AI that learns causes and effects occurring in the real world, adapts to change, and acts responsibly even in complex environments. Launch alignment partners include global projects and companies such as Vodafone, Theta Network, Filecoin, Aisher, HashKey Chain, and Alchemy Pay.

The foundry puts forward three principles: reality-based (use of real-time verifiable data), openness (open source and interoperability), and human-centered (reflecting responsibility and values). Through this, it plans to establish trustworthy and scalable AI standards.

Real-world AI is expected to provide the accuracy, adaptability, and accountability needed in various industries such as autonomous driving, robotics, energy, and healthcare. IoTeX and its partners plan to jointly design data standards, governance, and model deployment frameworks to build an open ecosystem that can be shared globally.
