Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan emphasized that Hong Kong will advance as a 'blockchain hub' leading Web3 innovation.

Secretary Chan stated during his opening keynote speech at 'Consensus Hong Kong 2025' held at the Hong Kong Convention Center (HKCEC) on the 19th (local time) that "interesting developments in the convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain are creating new applications and opportunities."

He announced that Hong Kong will become a center for AI-blockchain innovation. Secretary Chan emphasized, "Hong Kong has advanced financial infrastructure and a robust regulatory environment.
