First, Ethereum (ETH) is causing investor concerns following the recent Bybit hacking incident. On the 21st (local time), global cryptocurrency exchange Bybit suffered a major hacking attack, resulting in the theft of approximately 401,347 Ethereum. Bybit CEO Ben Zhou confirmed that "the Ethereum (ETH) cold wallet was indeed hacked" but assured that "all other cold wallets are secure and withdrawals are proceeding normally." This has raised concerns about a potential Bybit bank run and Ethereum dumping.

Meanwhile, FTX Token (FTT) is drawing attention due to news about creditor repayments. The bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX is reportedly planning to begin payment procedures on May 30th for investors holding claims exceeding $50,000.

Additionally, news has emerged that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) plans to fully withdraw its lawsuit against Coinbase. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong announced via X (formerly Twitter) on the 21st, stating "Only final approval from the SEC commission remains, expected next week. This will mark our complete victory without any fines or business changes."
