Trump warns "BRICS, don't think about various alternatives"

Donald Trump, the 47th President-elect of the United States, has issued a stern warning to the BRICS, a coalition of countries formed to counter the United States.

On the 1st, the President-elect Trump stated through X (Twitter) that "the BRICS countries are trying to break away in various ways, but the era where the United States just stands by is over," and added, "If they want to create a new currency or support the existing one to respond to various alternatives, they will have to pay a 100% tariff." Trump further emphasized that "if that happens, the United States will be isolated from the export market."

BRICS is an economic coalition of emerging countries including Russia, China, Brazil, India, and South Africa, with Iran and Saudi Arabia joining as new members.
