Ripple has announced the official launch of its own stablecoin 'Ripple USD (RLUSD)'.
On the 17th, Ripple stated via X (formerly Twitter) that "RLUSD has started trading on global virtual asset (cryptocurrency) exchanges."
Ripple added, "RLUSD is an enterprise-grade stablecoin based on the US dollar, designed to combine the stability of fiat currency with the efficiency of blockchain."
The price of XRP is trading at $2.64, up 10.6% from the previous day, based on the Binance USDT market at 23:44. Earlier that day, Ripple's announcement of the launch of its own stablecoin RLUSD saw it reach a high of $2.7289 during the day.
